What makes love, sex and intimacy coaching different from therapy?
Love, sex and intimacy coaching is different from therapy in many ways, namely that it is oriented towards creating new pathways of pleasure, intimacy, self-love and embodiment in the present moment, through real experiences, rather than focusing on insight, the past or the future.

Contemporary somatic and couples therapy modalities (such as the ones I have studied and practiced) are also experiential and embodied, but tend to address sexuality in a limited way, and focus more on emotional process and less on reality-based skill building.
As someone who has studied and worked across disciplines, I aim to bring together the depth of my therapeutic experience with the efficacy of coaching - we don't just gain awareness, but actually learn to embody new ways of relating to ourselves and our partners.

What can I expect in a session?
As a coach, I help women and couples develop confidence, competence and fulfillment in erotic and emotional connection in a way that is attuned to their unique needs, desires and comfort levels.

My approach is rooted in consent, safety and empowerment for those who have experienced trauma. Coaching does not involve any sexual engagement with me as the practitioner; rather, I teach, guide and mentor you in deepening intimate connection with yourself and/or your partner, in ways that are therapeutic and grounded.

Practices we explore might include mindful inquiry, somatic work (movement, touch, breath, nervous system regulation), inner child work, communication practices, role plays, emotional processing, experiential erotic education/tools, and guided visualization.

I offer real-time guidance and encouraging support as you practice new skills, with me and/or your partner, fostering integrated growth.

Through our collaborative, affirming relationship, I guide you in a way that reduces guilt and shame, empowers you around trauma, and opens up new possibilities for pleasure, sovereignty and connection.
